Shady Courtyard



Last Fall we went to work on this lovely, but sun challenged courtyard.  All of the existing plants were lean and stretchy and barely hanging on.  We had to do some pretty severe tree trimming and reworked the hardscape changing out a gravel material for this beautiful limestone surface.  We also excavated loads and loads of soil and brought in some fresh bedding mix.  Plants that are sun challenged certainly don’t need an added challenge of poor soil.  We are very pleased with the final product and are looking forward to seeing how it matures with time.
